I call foul. No using of the same video by the same poster more than once in a thread.

This evidence is inadmissible.

Please explain how Dave Brown bailed when Simon fell to the ice first, mysteriously losing his balance like he did in their first fight and many others ie. vs. Eric Godard, Derek Boogaard, Georges Laraque, Sandy McCarthy, etc.

When BBBB says he bailed, nuff said! One guy landing on another after a fights sounds as lame as Charles Barkley saying (during one of the playoff games versus the Bulls) while being interviewed, "well we won the first half of the game" ------------

Good one Srehm ! LOL !! I needed this thread to keep my sanity on here. One more thread about Brown or stupid post on how great Beck was for wrestling Brown down may of made me puke.

But in all honesty Janssens was one helluva good fighter and I could actually see people coming up with a good arguement that he was the #2 center all-time. Offhand I can't really come up with any better but sure I am forgetting someone.

Srehm, you sound EXACTLY like the other guy who constantly posts crap like this. You are nailing it, nice job.

Janssens was just a big bully who used his size advantage to beat much smaller opponents, if he was 3 inches shorter he would have been nothing.

i bite

Janssens beat Simon more cleanly in a longer better fight and that beating was far worse than the Simon edge over Brown that is now the #1 over rated fight on this site....#2 Fotiu Wilson (hmmmm a pattern perhaps).....Brown Simon was actually a pretty close fight with Simon winning edge until he fell IMHO

Janssens wins the Simon fight very cleanly and he also beats him in there only other meeting.....OK i bite......Janssens #2

i have finally been worn down by the same argument over and over and over.....as Monty Python would say....the record's stuck....the record's stuck....the record's stuck

ok so

#1 Probert

#2 Janssens

#3 Wilson

or maybe

#1 Nick Fotiu the fighter

#2 Nick Fotiu's reputation

#3 Nick Fotiu's non fights that were all because other guys were scarred of him and not because mr 60 fights in his NHL career was scarred of the other guys.....hell his massive fight totals would tell us he was fearless and it must have always been the other guy bailing

just thought i would throw Nick and Wilson into this somehow since it wouldn't be a thread these days without it

hay i have another idea.....why doesn't everyone take their opinion over to the HF.com top 10 all time thread and cast there vote then we will see how the chips fall......surely the lobby effort for Simon has converted enough people and shaken them from the blind heard to get Simon to his rightful place????

for the record i actually like Fotiu.....i like Simon.....always hated the flyers.....really hated the flyers.....just really needing a nap from the droning of our house organ in the church of Simon says...the Church of Brown is over rated.......WE GET IT......WE HEAR YOU GUYS.....now lets take it to the voting booth for the love of God!!

Mel Bridgman always pops to my mind right before Mark. I think P.J stock played center. Dale Hunter etc............but M.J. is right near the top.

Just thought of another good one: Terry Ruskowski.

Janssens took it to Simon in convincing fashion here - it is UNDENIABLE! Get used to it. I'll say it agin - and I'm not the only one! If Janssens can beat this overstuffed lefty with the cousin It hair-do than we must open our eyes to a guy like Janssens who would not be bullied!

The proof is in the pudding, gents. Janssens is #2 all-time and you are all blind if you think otherwise!

WHAT DOES JANSSENS HAVE TO DO TO GET SOME RECOGNITION AROUND HERE?

Do I have to stand on my HF.com soapbox and beat the rallying cry!?!

That's it! No Question! Janssens is #2 All-time! CASE CLOSED!

YouTube - Mark Janssens vs. Chris Simon
Couldn't agree more SSSS my friend and anyone who doesn't see Janssens as #2 is a complete, homeristic dum dum IMHO. Janny would dominate in any era he played in and rival Nick Fotiu in doll sales.

The Hawk's top 3 all-time :

1. Larry Melnyk (beat Brown)
2. Mark Jannsens (for obvious reasons)
3. Tony McKegney (beat Wilson)

Janssens was one of my favorites, and he really took it to Simon good in both of their fights. I think every one of his scraps were a lot of fun to watch.
