Mark Janssens #2 All-Time: Stop denying it!

Certainly if Mark Janssens had the bravado and grit necessary to take on Simon - he must warrant some mention as #2 all-time. Of Course you can pretend all you want that Simon and his legions of homer fans are right that he is #2 all-time, but you'd be dead wrong. Stop being sheep led to the slaughter! Janssens took it to Simon in convincing fashion here - it is UNDENIABLE! Get used to it. I'll say it agin - and I'm not the only one! If Janssens can beat this overstuffed lefty with the cousin It hair-do than we must open our eyes to a guy like Janssens who would not be bullied!

The proof is in the pudding, gents. Janssens is #2 all-time and you are all blind if you think otherwise!

WHAT DOES JANSSENS HAVE TO DO TO GET SOME RECOGNITION AROUND HERE?

Do I have to stand on my HF.com soapbox and beat the rallying cry!?!

That's it! No Question! Janssens is #2 All-time! CASE CLOSED!

LOl i think this is a poke at someones on the site and their recent posts

Jansens was actually a damn good fighter and very underrated as a scrapper, he could surprise the big heavies - tough big, solid chin and surprised people with his left hand

Clearly not number 2 lol - but a damn good scrapper

I agree, srehm1 - Don't be fooled by anyone else. Janssens was the real deal. He took it to Simon big time. You must have your head buried in the sand to think otherwise!

It's just me and you so far srehm1, but together we can affect change. We've been led to believe Simon is #2 All-time for far too long! Open your eyes people! Don't be led down the wrong path.

Yeah, i'm a huge fan of Mark, an underrated and very exciting fighter who fought "technically" yet open and was a rare, tough center.................

Do you sense a "but?"

Was he #2 on that classic potential line in Hartford with Stu Grimson and Kelly Chase?

As for Simon, he merits strong consideration for 15 or lower IMHO. Too many guys had much deeper cards with (therefore) a lot more impressive wins over the cream of the crop. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder but i have problems putting him ahead of John Kordic, let alone that group of long termers like Mckenzie, Domi, Berube, Hunter, McCarthy etc. To me, he is in that bunch that's struggling to crack the 20.............long term standouts like Nilan or Baumgartner, older legends like Fraser, Jonathan, Cochrane Terry O and guys like Jay Miller and Jay Wells.

He didn't have to if he beat Simon 'the King of Kings'! Again I must be the only one who can see the light. Offer me something true and realistic here.
Are we going to sit there and let a bully like Simon get placed on a pedastel? He of the stepping on players with his skates type or he that would drop the N-Bomb on Mike Grier. A man who's fistic career abounds in Bailouts! Surely we are not afraid of a bully like Simon!

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

Read it and rejoice. Janssens #2 all-time!

Great stuff srehm! You are quite the angler as I see many dangling from your pole.

Janssens does rock though.
