Simon had questionable fights, especially later in his career

One of the many reasons he'll never be in the top 20 of all time...
IMO, Simon could not be rated as a top ten guy, anyway you slice it, his balance was always questionable. Whether intentional or not, that fact still remains, he was usually on the bottom in key fights and IMO, both fights with Dave Brown were very close anyway, hardly decisive victories.

Simon had major surgery's to his shoulder, 3-4x. But people challenged him and he had to go. He faded towards the end of his career for sure.

From purely objective reasoning you would think that the same even handedness would be applied to Simon as is applied to:

Wilson's back
W. Clark's back
Kocur's hand
Brown's age

If that logic was applied and the facts check out regarding the severity of Simon's condition, and it proves true, the only thing stopping this even handed justice is the spirit, I WON"T SEE, not I can't see.

I would love for you and smashem to have a debate about that.

Chris Simon isnt one of those guys who I ever pumped up but I will say in his defence that his shoulder problems were very real and "chronic" once they began.....

Someone I know who knows him very well once told me that if he stands up and puts both his arms straight out at shoulder height in front of him?? his right arm is visably more extended, this guy couldnt even extend his Left arm fully after about 1997, it never changed either.

How he kept fighting all those years after it began is pretty incredible if you ask me.
