Some guys wer just buds and wouldn't fight each other unless absolutely necessary and even then.....
Maybe we'd like it to have happened but sometimes it just doesn't. What can you do?

In 1974/75 we saw Schultz fight Rick Middleton and John Bednarski but he never looked for Bert Wilson. Wilson was seen cutting Ted Harris open in Philly!

why? does not make any sense! He fights, Kocur, Brown, Twist, (for better or for worse) ---- don't buy it. Probie was beaten probably more so than any of the above mentioned - No, it makes no sense that Ray feared Probie, zilch - nado!

I think Ray ducked Probie early in his career. In a game at the Joe in 93' Probert chased Ray around for two straight shifts, Ray found a willing dance partner in Carkner, got the jump on him and got a flash knockdown. Probert was incensed, went after him, had to be held, etc...
Later in their careers, not so sure, maybe they just never met up? Probert on Chicago was really only going with Top 10 guys for the most part, he had ALOT of help to handle anyone else at the time (Simpson, Russell, Ciccone, Cummins, etc..) Always been the one that stuck in my head though, Ray obviously ducked him early in his career.

It sucks Orr seemed so hesitant. Now that he's stuck in the minors it will probably never happen.
