After fight gestures

Love ´em or hate ´em famous fights were often followed by famous celebrating gestures. Most known in our hockey fights World is the Domi one. Which was very lame.

Post your favourites. Mine:

1) Ray books Bonvie´s plane ticket to Lalaland, celebrates in a way which absolutely fit that situation. I can imagine the Blackhawks fans pain back then. Boy that was a slap to the face of their nation

Rob Ray KO's Dennis Bonvie - YouTube

2) Asham puts Beagle to bed, this gesture quickly became all time classics

Jay Beagle vs Arron Asham Oct 13, 2011 - YouTube

3) Honorable mention is Brashear after the Reed Low fight. Its was not exactly a gesture but Low used to skate quickly to the sin bin after his fights thinking its cool and he used to drop his helmet so people could see his face back then. Brashear copied him and was making fun of him. I remember laughing my ass off watching that stuff live

Donald Brashear vs Reed Low Round 1 - YouTube

Todd Fedoruk vs Reed Low - YouTube

Besides the Asham one, my favorite recent celebration was Shelley vs Rupp, after Rupp called Shelley irrelevant and made the "Jagr salute" after scoring in the Classic.

Good stuff V12

One that I was familiar with was PJ Stock's in Boston, "the signature wave" after all his fights.

This was particularly amusing after perhaps hockey's greatest fight vs Washington's Stephen Peat!

The P.J. Stock wave was a classic. Such a simple gesture in reality, but it just showed how much he endeared the city of Boston and its fans, and vice versa.
Damn I miss that guy on the Bruins.

Not sure it was celebratory, but certainly a classic…..

Tie Domi - Speed bag

Think it was an interview with Rock-em Sock-em where he said ".. I used the other guy's head like a speed bag."

Tie Domi vs Grant Jennings - YouTube

His belt move after Probert 1 is classic as well.

All the best.

Probably the only time I saw Probert do any type of post fight gesture:

Not a big fan of post fight hijinks however some of them are alright. Probert did the finger raise as to say i'm still number #1 in his fight against McGill when he beat him pretty good. I was never fan of the Domi belt gesture or Brashear washing his hands.

Another one I like was when Bonvie fought Cairns. After the fight prior to skating to the box he gives his bench a nod to say don't worry boys everything is ok.

I hate Asham for that, Beagle was clearly hurt before he pulled that...

PJ Stock's wave was the best in my mind. I completely forgot about the Brashear/Reed Low thing. Brashear looked like such an idiot skating like that, making a perfect mockery of Reed Low. Hilarious.
