Actually I'm being kinda greasy by "adding on" to my original question so in fairness and sportsmanship(two traits you would never expect to see from a Flyer fan), Nick got the question right. He was missing a finger. The middle finger on his right hand. Your up NickDoh. And I really gotta work on my questions. This one only took 6 minutes to answer. I feel shame.

Weird. I watch the show pretty regularly.

My question:

A baseball actor (actor: involved in the game) has been thrown out of the Washington Nationals game tonight. What is his tie with a Chicago (baseball) coach?

I see where Dave Magadan was tossed from the game; are you referring to him?

And he's the godson of Cubs manager "Sweet" Lou Piniella.

As for the actor part, he didn't get shown, but he hit into a double play to help the Twins into a tiebreaker game in Little Big League.

Haha, you got it right. Magadan got tossed and he is the cousin and godson of Lou.

The actor part was simply a different way of saying player or coach without giving it away too much.

Your turn.

Thanks.

And for the record, even though it says I edited my guess, my only edit was about the actor part. You can check the original vs. the edited post.

Next question:

Every baseball fan knows that Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle staged a legendary chase for Ruth's 60 HR record in 1961, with Maris beating Mantle out 61-54. What few people know is, what 3 players finished 3rd?

You're correct on both.
