In 1989, Terry Mulholland of the Giants made a play that has been played over and over on blooper videos, when he fielded a grounder back to the mound and the ball got stuck in the mitt and he couldn't get it out.

So he did the next best thing, and tossed the glove (legally) to first for the out.

The question is, who was the first baseman for the Giants who Mulholland threw his glove to?

Yep.

I had to go back and double check, because if you watch the clip, you can tell it's not their regular 1B, Will Clark, because it's a right handed catching first baseman, and Clark was a lefty.

The Giants had a lot of guys who were right-handed who backed Clark up those years.

Only reason I knew is because Brenly used to be the coach of the D'Backs and I remember one of the broadcasters mentioning it.

Question - Who has the highest career OBP in MLB?

Jensen sent me the answer, as he'll be gone most of tomorrow and doesn't want to hold up the game.

You're correct Lefthook, so you're up.
