I couldnt name 10 players in the ECHL so Id be a no go on that. Doesnt look like theres a whole lot of interest in a game for any level though...

I am down but I think we need to do it a different way like we used to. Like when we had to sign our players and had a salary cap that seemed to last longer and people stayed more involed instead of trading and getting the guys they want and then they are done.

It might be too time consuming but maybe some sort of draft could be done. Either using historical players or only current ones.

Looks like we have eleven or so members that would be down to play. Unfortunately, that's less than half the league so that's probably not enough members to get a good game going before free agency.

September should be a somewhat light month for me so you can count me in if others are still interested. I vote for the salary cap idea though. We've done this game so many times it's gotten a little stale. Throwing in a couple nuances like that should liven it back up. Plus, as kwngdaddy said, too many times do GMs trade for everyone they want the first week then stop responding to questions or whatever. Make the salary cap whatever it is this year and you can go over but have to get below the cap by the time trading ends or you are DQ'd. Sounds simple enough.

I wouldnt have a problem with the cap, it would make other players more attractive that I wouldnt usually go for along with the guys I usually do.
