Fantasy Hockey 2012-13
Wanted to see if anyone had an idea if we will now have a season of fantasy hockey this year?

I assume I will get told by JKidd here soon enough...

Roster Positions: C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, F, D, D, D, D, Util, Util, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR

Forwards/Defensemen Stat Categories: Goals (G), Points (P), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Goals (PPG), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Points (SHP)

Goaltenders Stat Categories: Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Saves (SV), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

I might actually play this. What are the basics? Is it a weekly roster thing like football? What are the typical scoring rules?

daily thing ala baseball.

points for g, a, ppg, shg, pim, +/- and maybe one or two other categories along with goalies as well

Of course. I'll start compiling the list tomorrow at work and get league(s) setup Tuesday. In turn, I'll get the stat categories all posted as well, and we can change as we decide.
