Wings' May Says Visors Should Be Mandatory

Obviously when somebody gets hurt because they’re not wearing one, now it’s like he made the wrong choice. … That’s like saying not wearing a seat belt, you’re going to be safer. In some cases that’s true. But, seat belts are there for the right reason, as would be visors. But in more cases than not, the visor is going to help, no question.”

First, I don't have a problem with players wearing visors for protection, so long as it remains a choice, and that they remove them when they fight. Second, if players would learn how to keep control of their sticks and keep them down, we wouldn't be talking about mandatory visors.

So he says everyone should wear visors, realizes he doesn't wear one, recognizes he's a hypocrite, and then says people will make the wrong choice by not wearing one.

I don't know what to make of this.

I didnt know wearing a visor made you a *****. I guess wearing helmets and other form of protection like a cup makes you one as well. Smart people in here.

You continuously have (stupid) viewpoints like this and if you are pro-visors then that is definitive enough for me to say that visors are lame.

Look at the long-term trends, buddy. Visors are only okay if removed for a fight. And visors totally ruin spontaneous fights because nobody is going to remove it to avenge something or quickly defend themself. Lastly, when/if helmets aren't allowed to be removed for a fight, then mandatory visors will be fukkin retarded.

But aside from that, thanks for your terrible opinion that clearly wasn't thought out.
