Why are the Canucks hated?

Tonight hawks and canucks. 1st game since the elbow. If the canucks dont respond to this. I will lose more respect for the club as a whole. Vancouver needs to send a message and become the respectful club back in the day before all the bs hated club hype. time to turn the page vancouver canucks.

Out of curiosity what do you expect to happen? I figure there may be a fight or two, but I doubt there is any response or action involving Keith and certainly not involving the Sedin's. You could probably piss on their mother and they would stand there with a thumb up their ass.

Well I think that will probably happen. I wasn't sure if you expected someone to go after Keith. Someone may try (although I wouldn't count on it) but I wouldn't expect much in that regard.

I just want this team to man up. fans booing everytime duncan keith touches the puck.so it seems everyone wants the nucks to man up. and whats to happen next year when the canucks meet the bruins? brad marchand ..... whats to come of that? whatever win lose or draw.. just man up.

I've decided after watching some clips on youtube that I hate the Penguins much more than the Canucks... Talbot is a POS, Le tang is a POS,Crosby is a whiner, etc.

Also it seems to me that its ok to take runs at sydney crosby, and they have argueably the best fighter out there collectimg dust. When they signed steve macintyre I thought the entire league would have to watch out from the pens.

yip. you would figure if you had a superstar like crosby you'd have the proper goons in place . ones you can play , take regular shifts, even skate around with crosby. i would put two in forward position (any line), and have one maybe two on D. there is also malkin you have to watch out for.

They actually did that in the 2010-11 season with Godard, Engelland, Rupp and Asham all getting playing time. They were among the league leaders in fights most of the season. As a result, Crosby was making a mockery of the league, up until his concussion (that they never got proper retribution for). Then the Isles brawl game happened, and ever since then, they have been nothing but a bunch of puzzies. Makes me sick. Yeah, they do things that piss people off, but they deserve some protection so that they have the room to play their game.

I feel your pain. Vancouver had a respectable hockey club once. Slowly it looks like they are turning the page. With the signing of jim vandermeer. But I hope he doesnt end up like steve macintyre down in the A. Only to not resign next year. I figured he will play(vandy) since some of the canucks roster players requested that he get signed.
