Why are the Canucks hated?

I'm not trying to be that close minded. But the point I'm trying to make is the Canucks have never won a Stanley Cup. Yes, I understand there are 12 other current NHL teams that haven't won a cup either. So I'm not trying to single them out specifically. But, I find it hard to label a team as "successful" when they have never won the ultimate goal in their entire existence.

If you want to say the Canucks have been a successful team throughout the regular season for the last several years, that's fine. No argument from me there. If you want to say the Canucks are one of the better teams in the league currently, I won't argue that either.

But as a whole, the Canucks aren't "hated" due to them being a "successful team". They haven't achieved the ultimate level of success. There are many reasons why they are hated. None of which have anything to do with "success". That belief or reasoning is complete nonsense.

Wrong. Most of the real Canuck fans can't afford to go to the games. The city is one of the most expensive to live in. So mostly the rich shmucks go and they are flaky and all have their privilege faces going.

That is true. Then again I feel a lot of hockey fans in general are stupid. That isn't limited to Vancouver or any other NHL city. Maybe it's a "new era" hockey fan or whatever you want to call it but it's mind boggling how little a lot of hockey fans really know about the sport.

So now there are two reasons to dislike canucks:

1. They aren't smart

2. They aren't educated


I think the second obviously informs the first HOWEVER, you don't have to be educated to be smart.
