Why are the Canucks hated?

With a new season about to start. My loyalties with the nucks have soured. After losing to kings .watching them get somewhat bullied again , And not fixing that problem in the off season. Has me boycotting them this season. I get sick to my stomach watching them do notjing as players and teams take liberties on the nucks. I will not watch them play.

And since the answer to getting tougher is adding pest. Im done with nucks. Looking for a new respectable team.

They're punks plain and simple. They dive. They bitch. They have no sportsmanship or gamesmanship. Look at when Weise refused to go with Thornton. They also have Burrows and Lapierre. If the Vancouver media is asking, they need to be a little more "objective"

I can't stand them but I love rooting against them, don't give up on your team. They just need to make some key changes and get some new blood, some players that want it more. They have already proven the last few years that they are professional chokers with the current core players and their game plan isn’t working. It’s time to let the sisters, Luongo and a few others go, not so much rebuild but replace some players.

Hang in there, I went through the same thing with Chicago for many years not too long ago. Of course it took the old asshole ****ing owner dropping dead for changes to happen but dreams do come true.

That isn't possible when it comes to most Vancouver media. They always act as though the Canucks are victims. There is this real pompous, holier than thou attitude the current roster, management and even many fans seem to possess (for whatever reason). Talk about a completely unwarranted sense of entitlement or accomplishment for that matter.

I look back at when the Canucks weren't really hated, when a lot what I just described previously didn't exist. I'm sure there is a correlation between the two.

The sad part is how much they have fallen with fans of other teams. Back when they made it to the finals against the Rangers they were a much more respected as a team and a franchise now nobody can stand them BUT their fans. You (or at least I) just love watching teams really stick it to them the same way I feel about Detroit. I don't care who they are playing I root against them unless it's Detroit and then I just want a meteor to hit center ice.

Everything that was said is true, and Luongo is a whiny little meatball bitch who looks like a uglier version of Razor Ramon. The guy can't handle any pressure, has shown by his terrible performances in the playoffs, but still likes to make comments on other goalies. He has no room to talk at all.

i will not dispute the fans of the canucks and how rotten and rude we can be. Sometimes the fans show more passion and emotion than the players do. The people of vancouver have high expections of the vancouver canucks. Our team brings out the best and worst in us.
