Sedin-Sedin-Ovechkin line.

That trade makes sense but of course Luongos wife would have to approve it first.

Ovechkins was never going to last playing the way he did. It's tough to play 82 games like they are all playoff games. Not saying you can't give the effort but you run around and try hit everyone in sight and celebrate every goal like you just won the cup.

Factor in his wallet and you get what your getting. A multi millionaire russian who probably discovered fast food and and a good piece of azz.

A coach that can get him to just play smarter, really good linemates. I also think he would thrive more in a hockey city like van, Montreal , Toronto ..

I was saying the Sens should sign Anderson to an extension and swap him for Ovechkin. Lord knows we could use a bit of scoring right now, and I'm willing to roll the dice on a bounce back for OV!

I think the lockout basically was a good and bad thing for Ovi.. Good in a sense that he got to play in his own country, was a major star there, could do whatever he wants and nobody would question him whatsoever.. celebrity status through and through.

He got a taste of that, knowing he would eventually have to go back to NA and that celebrity status would somewhat go away...

Bad in a sense that basically, the guy doesnt seem to want to play in NA anymore. He will honor his contract, but I bet after his contract is up, he will no doubt play in the KHL.

Also bad for the Caps who pay this guy a boat load of money and only getting sub-standard points out of the guy..

Anyway, that's my take on it..

I can't believe Ovi has "lost" his game. Getting out of Washington would be a start. I still believe that he has'nt adapted his game as teams have figured out how to play him. Still too one dimensional IMO.

What's wrong with Ovechkin is that he doesn't give a f*ck. He's got more money than God and he's perfectly fine with being paid to lose and underperform. No pride at all.

Wasn't there a Washington based steroid dealer busted for supplying the D.C. teams with PED's? If I recall correctly, Ovechkin,Semin, and Green's production went downhill coincidentally around the same time that trainer was busted.
