I'm curious as to how much one of those games on PPV costs...

I believe the Canucks PPV games are around $10 bucks a game. I usually just get the season package (which is anywhere between 19-22 games) for $150.00.

Yeah, Adelphia crashed, so Cablevision swooped in and grabbed the Sabres broadcasts (although I believe the Sabres control the entire broadcast, unlike the NY metro teams, where the network controls it - not 100% on that one). Rangers/Isles/Devils games are generally blacked out in Buffalo, but a lot of upstate can actually get 'em all.

10 bucks for a hockey game, I find that a rip off. But I think NESN went through something like this a while back where I and my family had to pay to get NESN, kind of like an HBO type thing. I could only watch the games on UPN that year,

If you go to the NHL official site and check the schedules, they list the national broadcaster and local team broadcasters for each game.

Well it would suck worse if you coughed up the bucks for Center ice. Right now it's averaging out to $2 a fight. By the way, welcome to the site.

Few corrections, Steg:

The Anaheim Ducks share their broadcasts between FSPT (Fox Sports Prime Ticket) & local channel 56 KDOC, which DirecTV grabs a few of the feeds from. But it's not like anybody watches the Ducks, right?

The Los Angeles Kings are primarily on FSW (Fox Sports West)

Coyotes have about 33% of the games on a channel called AZTV.

that $$$ is ridiculous. Leafs TV shows 28 games this year, has all day hockey coverage with some alright shows (but some that are obvious time filler) and is only $2 - $5 a month depending on what cable package you have
