Scott Parker Interview and Update
Long, really interesting article. Apparently part two is coming tomorrow. Good old fashioned tough guy, my personal favorite.

Good interview, wish I could find a video of him going after the Dallas Stars.

This interested me -
"That's what I tell the boys, if anything goes awry, I say, "watch this". I got you. I have that [watch this] tattooed on my chest. It was what I knew I had to do. When Jack Johnson hit Smitty [Ryan Smyth] into the turnbuckle, I looked right at Coach Q like, "Can I go, can I go?!". And he's like, "go where?". And I said, "go after that mother****er". And he said, "no, no, no". I should have just went, but you obviously don't do that or I would have been done right there. But still, Smitty's my boy and that's my job. I felt like I let him down. I should have done something. I wouldn't have went crazy enough where something went really awry, but I would send a message bad enough to where it probably would have changed the face of the whole NHL. I was just at that point where I was hand-cuffed enough. I was a rabid dog. One of my boys was down on the ice, unwarranted. It didn't sit well with me." Hmmmm, really curious as to what that would have been. And the handcuffing stuff is really unfortunate... |

That was the best, most candid interview I have ever read. The highlights:

Always liked Scott even though I had to watch him manhandle my WHL team. He is right though, the WHL was HIS league that last year.
Curious though. He is 34 and it says his son plays college volleyball. Is it his stepson or did he have a kid when he was 15? |

Maybe it's his GF's son and she's older than him...
