It's been said for years, Ovechkin is a lazy twat.

While a bit overboard, Milbury kills OV in this segment. Especially in that embellishment of the stick to the face. That's strait soccer **** right there....

Great clip. Milbury and Jones are no strangers to ripping the Russians.

Keith Jones rips Alex Radulov

I see Milbury's multiple personality disorder continues to haunt him. Oh well. At least this character is likeable.

Mad Mike said something right for once, its been a good 3 years since that last happened. The Caps ownership needs to understand that the ship for this core group of players has saled. Trade Ovie and all those overpaid 3rd liners.

Doesn't matter if your Russian , Czech, North American your a professional athlete act & play like it!

AO Makes $9 million dollars a year playing for caps. Pro rated this season he makes $110,000 per game...where's mark messier when you need him?

They should make him watch tapes of fellow Russian Pavel Datsyuk! Now there's a guy who earns his money!!!!

Can't find video of it but Jeremy Roenick also ripped him just as badly during the post game of the Wings/Kings game. He said Ted Leonsis should make Ovechkin donate 100K (what he makes per game) to charity for that performance.

Can't say I disagree. That dive in particular was cringe-worthy.

he did act human by calling out someone who needed to be called out...ovechkin's effort last night from a captain was completely and utterly unacceptable.

secondly, he's not a broadcaster. he's an analyst and that is his job to point things out like he did. so while you're obviously clueless about things in hockey, milbury did his job and did it correctly unlike ovechkin. furthermore...there was not one thing about what he said that wasn't professional.

unlike you some people call it like they see it instead of taking the high road like a little girl. keith jones did nothing but agree with what milbury said too. does that make him unprofessional as well?

His opinion right now is a fact though Ovi is being over payed to underperform and needs to sort his effort out. All the talent in the world is useless when you're to lazy to play the game

No kidding, that was completely nauseating last night.

The only thing that was worse was when a puck came flying into his area -- While he tosses it up into the crowd, to accordingly a small kid -- he still acts pompously when asked about it by Mike Emrick.

I swear the only thing that's worse than listening to Pierre on broadcasts is when he gives radio/tv interviews. He comes off like he's the expert of the sport and its an honor for you to ask him questions.

oh and furthermore (from one of the best that covers an nhl team) so obviously it's you who is clueless about what should or shouldn't be said or how milbury was doing his job last night.

Never thought I'd agree with Milbury but this was my feeling exactly watching the game...though not really angry because Gagne scored and the Flyers won.

Ovechkin relatively speaking to his expectations, if he continues like this as he has since 2010-11, is a borderline flash in the pan. I know he's still putting up almost a point a game the last few years but he was the best player in the world for much of 5 seasons.
