Actually most "Hockey Fighters" DO TRAIN in BOXING.....

And Tie is a special athlete, he was the fastest skater on the Leafs at one point, he can kick a 40 yard Field goal and he could have chosen Soccer as his pro sport.....he can adapt, that is a fact....

And besides's if Manny Paquio can fall for the "step on your foot trick"? thats all Tie has to do, step on Marky's foot and throw the same left he KO'ed Sammuelsson with.

Darcy T, true there is no footage of Domi in the Boxing ring but we have hours of REAL hockey fights and I have heard from friends and relatives of Tie, about him annihilating a Huge College Football player at a bar in the company of Joe Kocur when he played in New York and another about him KO'ing a 260lb Biker in a Mississauga parking lot after the biker called him out of a bar to fight.

I've only heard of Wahlbergs altercations earlier in his life through this thread........wait!! I saw him in a nasty brawl with Teddy Bear recently!! Look, if he was fighting in any way in the present?? it would be KNOWN.....and look at that pic of them, Tie is easily 40 to 50lbs heavier, all muscle.

Honestly, look at the difference in the size of their skulls, Wahlberg would break his hands if he hits that Pumpkin!

Here's the deal....
As of right now, in an actual "boxing" match with refs, 3 min rounds and a 10 point scoring system Wahlberg wins this simply because Domi (his words) never trained to box. Wahlberg, by all accounts has been sparring and training for many years.

If Tie had trained as a boxer as long as Wahlberg, going by his punching power and ability to absorb punches would easily hand Marky his ass.

The difference between boxing and a hockey fight is like cross country running vs sprinting. One is an endurance test, the other a quick burst of energy. Two separate things completely.

Of the fight was say a year away and Domi trained with a guy like Freddie Roache, he could win, but a "walk of the street" sparring session today, Domi would lose and even he knows it.

Look at Patrick Cote.....pretty good hockey fighter, mediocre MMA fighter. Another good example is Kimbo Slice. Against a REAL trained fighter he got his ass kicked.

Its all about training...

Show me video of Wahlberg "sparring"?? I use to train a well known Canadian actor and as soon as I mentioned "Boxing/MMA for cross training?? He said "I cant be taking shots to the face" and he never came back.

No one has video of Domi Boxing either but as I said earlier, he co-owned a gym at one point with Lennox Lewis and they hung out quite a bit during that time.....I know for a fact that Wade Belak did most of his off-ice Training year round at Centre Ring Boxing in Toronto for at least 2 seasons, this was after Orr broke his nose.

Especially after seeing that picture of them together?? I feel Domi would rattle him to the bone if he lands something good, he's way too big for Wahlberg, look at the difference in skull size, this means ALOT. George Chuvalo has a huge head like Domi and he has the sturdiest chin in the history of mankind.

You're right. Wahlberg is also smaller than Domi, but size was never an issue for Bruce Lee, so for now: Edge Marky Mark.

Here is the thing. I don't care who wins this fight. It's funny whoever were to get knocked out.

My only point is that it's not out of the realm of possibility that Marky Mark can handle himself.
