What a ****ing pansy-ass european Lappy was, he shouldn't have played concussed and should have continued to play after getting the second puck in the face. Not mentionning he should have fought more often with only 25 fights a year.
He sounds about as smart as the test of you frogs trying to play through a concussion ****ing idiot

I'm obviously talking about the Max Lapierres and Alex Burrows of the league when I talk about embarrassments. Max Talbot isn't much better either if you want to talk Flyers.

There are about 40 to 50 Quebec players in the league. Of COURSE there are names like Burrows or Lapierre in the list.

P.K. Subban is a bitch. He is from Ontario. All Ontario players are bitches.

Hey Halifax NS gave us Brad Marchand and Cindy Crosby. I should paint the 300 000 inhabitants of Halifax as whiny bitches too.

I fully agree with Lafleur. The more North American players, the better. There are so many talented players that for one reason or another never get/got the chance to show that they have as much skill as the next guy. Plus, more North American players should lead to a more North American style of hockey that we all love.

I am ok with Euros as long as the NHL adopted an import rule.
I live on the west coast, have never met one. This is news to me [except the independent country part].

I agree with Lafleur. But I saw in the article that Rick Dipietro signed with a team in Germany and he broke his hand signing the contract...........Actually I like how it said that if the Isles can't convince him to stay in Germany they would be on the hook for the last twenty years of his contract...

This coming from a yank, with your little college ncaa ***** leagues and no fighting.
Thinking about it, how many tough guys came into the NHL as compared to those from Quebec alone? Quebec wins in a landslide.

You yankees wish to copy Canadas style so badly and yet cannot. And thing is, Quebec is a part of Canada too, so...

Look no further than the Canadiennes fans crying for penalties every time a Canadiennes player falls. You guys love Euro-style hockey. There have been a few tough French-Canadian players in the NHL in recent years, though Ian Laperriere and Donald Brashear, both of whom fcm cited as examples, retired several years ago. However, Quebec has produced just as many softies and divers as any European country. I agree with Guy Lafleur's comments, but I also see the irony in them.

Yeah what a terrible point he tried to make with that. We can point to any one player and say his whole ethnic group plays like that. Unfortunately for French-Canadians, we're talking about an entire culture of hockey players where whining, diving, and cheapshots are a deeply-rooted tradition, with a few exceptions like Laperriere and Brashear breaking that mold.
