hate to break to ya but I have an authentic Godard jersey that I spent a pretty penny on. I was using the pic of it as my avatar on here for a while. Your jersey wouldnt happen to be white would it? I was eating at the Cafe Euro downtown before game 1 of the Carolina series and I saw a guy in there wearing a white Godard jersey. If that wasn't you there's atleast 3 of us running around with Godard jerseys!

I'd like to see more from the wrecker before considering him a true HW also. I like his style of throwing but come on now. Hes lost to John Scott, BGL, and Erskine. His wins have come against MWs.

Waaaaaaaaayyyyy too soon to be calling these guys true heavies. However, in time, Im sure they will achieve HW status.

Leblond in the AHL against some very tough HW's:

And I wouldn't call it a win, but he certainly gave Brashear a run for his money. I can't think of too many young guys off the top of my head that could last a minute with Brashear:

I'll let the Isles fans do the research for Rechlicz.

Anyone else think the Rechlicz/Erskine fight was a draw? At the most it was a slight edge. Rechlicz threw the first couple then Erskine got the good grip and threw the next couple(landing the best punch) then Rechlicz got better position and threw three punches and Erskine went down a covered up. People bring up this fight when talking about Rechlicz's losses but it certainly does not compare to the John Scott and BGL fight's. He definitely held his own against Erskine.

Godard played 71 games last season; I suspect he'll play between 65-70 next season. He will be out there against every team with a legit HW. Rupp was not brought in here to take his job, he was brought in to provide secondary toughness to go along with Godard.

i kno what your saying but i have a feeling godard will only be used against teams with guys like brash or bgl or teams with alot of toughness like the flyers. i dont see them having rupp and godard in at the same time too often

They probably will be at the beginning of the season with Max Talbot out until at least early November. But after that, who knows? If the Pens decide to hang on to Pascal Dupuis, then you're right - they likely won't be in together a whole lot except against tough teams. I wish it were different and they'd be in every night, but I'm just going on how Dan Bylsma coached the team late last season.

i agree with this. its just rare to see a team have 2 enforcers dressed at the same time. rupps the better player so i see him in more than godard. i hope im wrong and they botyh play cause that would make their team really tough
