thank god I was getting worried that the 150$ I spent on a Godard jersey was going to be wasted... I love being the only guy in town with a Godard jersey.

It's tough to believe they'll both be dressed at the same time, but if they are it's probably the best one-two in the league that I can think of. Two top 15 fighters in the line up is not something youre gonna see in the NHL today to often. I hope that Rupp doesn't assume he has to fight less with Godard in town and only does it 6 or 7 times know what I mean?

Like what Erskine did when he went to Washington. If Godard want to get any playing time he better hope thats what happenes or else i see him being traded at the deadline.

Its going to be a rough and tumble year in the Atlantic regardless of which team you root for. The Pens adding toughness and not losing any is great and seeing our biggest rival get even more gritty and nasty excites me. Plus now we get to see Brash-Godard 6 times a year. The only worry I have is the Devils and Islanders. They are minus any true heavyweight. Got alot of guys that will drop them though.

Both Leblond and Rechlicz are true HW's, just depends on if they make the team, which I believe both will.

This is correct.

Not to mention the Islanders have Jackman and the Devs have Clarkson who both go with the occasional heavy.

I think Rechlicz and Leblond will have a tough seasons fighting top 10 HW's like Brash and Godard multiple times. They can problay hang with the likes of Cote and Rupp thou.

when did the wrecker and leblond become true HWs? I must have missed it.

Leblond had 3 fights last season in VERY limited playing time, 2 against Cote and 1 against Jesse Winchester. Hasnt played in the NHL long enough to be considered a true HW yet.

I'd like to see more from the wrecker before considering him a true HW also. I like his style of throwing but come on now. Hes lost to John Scott, BGL, and Erskine. His wins have come against MWs.

Waaaaaaaaayyyyy too soon to be calling these guys true heavies. However, in time, Im sure they will achieve HW status.

He also beat Konopka, an AHL HW and Cote, an NHL HW.

He is definitely a heavy, may not be top 10, 20 even 30 but there is no doubting the guys status. He doesn't limit himself to just heavies, he fights everyone who wants to fight, which I dont mind at all. It is a little harder to classify a guy that fights Mike Fisher then George Laraque a week later. Win or lose, if you are going with guys like Laraque and Erskine, you are probably a HW.

maybe im lost but i thought someone becomes a heavyweight by size.. just like in ever other form of figthing. fight status, amount of fights, or fight style that you brought up has nothing to do with being a heavyweight or not. seems you are misinformed
