games not televised?

I've been looking at some teams schedules today and I notice that for a lot of them there is a lot of blanks under TV. For example I think Nashville has 4 home games later in the year and it has no one televising it at the moment. Not that I'm really a Preds fan, that just stuck out (Ducks also had some blanks and their my second favorite team). Does this mean this is just at the moment there is no TV or what? I'm just kind of confused because I never noticed this in past years and even the Bruins have two blank spots later in the year and they have televised every game as far as I can remember. I know this is kind of pointless but I'm just wondering lol.

Yup, he is correct.

Although some people would just watch the game online I would assume.

yeah I figured that but it was blank for the other team as well for some of the games I saw. that's why it was confusing me, since it was blank for both teams

I doubt the Bruins won't be televising all of their games. I can't think of an Original Six team now in a really strong market that doesn't televise all of their games.

In Philadelphia there are 10 games not available to Verizon customers, because Comcast's local network (CN8) televise the games but the channel isn't available with Verizon's cable lineup, but Comcast SportsNet is.

Kings vs Preds isnt on tv in La or Nsh. Kings are not televising around 18 games this season. Thats almost a quarter of the season. Pretty weak considering lakers and dodgers televise every game.
