Ive got 2 boxes ordered.

Is anyone else getting down with this?

They are only producing 7,000 boxes for distribution.

Even though they are produced by a company named "In The Game" cards, which is not an NHLPA licensed company, the fact that they are producing so very few and it satisfies a niche market, these will be VERY valuable in the not too recent future.

They come out on January 19th.

I'd love to get these, but the current market for cards is insane, and I'm not an investor (nor would I want to be.) When did specialty cards go from 2 per box to 4 per pack?

I think I had more fun with a couple of boxes of cheap, new old stock hockey cards off of Ebay than I'd have with these. Eight beers in, and that Kocur or Clark card is just awesome to pull out of a pack...

So it looks like these are retailing for anywhere between $60 - $75 per unit and you get 12 cards per box/pack.

For the average person who doesnt collect cards, this price would seem ridiculous. However for those who collect cards, know that the guarantee of 5 authentic autograph cards and 2 memorabilia/jersey cards in each box, the price is a great value.

Ive got 2 boxes ordered and Im going to find out today how much this guy is gonna sell them to me. I will pray for a Wendel Clark, Wade Belak, or the ultimate score, a Bob Probert jersey card.

I was expecting the price to be around $40 per unit. I only collect Toronto Maple Leaf McFarlane figures now, and it will be hard to reason with myself to fork over say $65 for 12 cards when I could use the money and get the Bernie Parent in a Leafs jersey that I have been wanting for so long. Im definitely going to buy 1 box though, and maybe back out on that second.

For those wanting to purchase and there is no retailer around you, check ebay. There are already a few for sale online.

I will scan the cards I get and post them here to let you know who I got.
