This is disappointing news as I was hoping Manny would end up with the Yotes. I'd much rather have him than Gerber or Raycroft. As for Kalus, from what I can gather the kid will throw his body around, will crash the net, and will also drop the gloves, and supposedly he has the potential to be a pretty solid goal scorer.

This is good news as a Coyotes fan. I really didn't want Fernandez. The Coyotes were eyeing Bryzgalov and I'm sure they are even more interested in him now.
Kalus should be a decent player. And even though he's a euro he isn't a complete wimp. |

mark my words: Kalus will be a future NHL star he got called up at the end of last season, and scored 4 goals in 9 games with limited ice time... he was our top prospect and now will be your top prospect not only can he score, he's also not afraid to drop the gloves and he's done that numerously in the AHL this is a great trade for minnesota, and a horrible trade for boston |

Bruins have to be the worst ran team in the NHL. That move just took up so much cap space for a back goalie from minny who wont be here for more than two years. Minny cleared 4 million and got Klaus who could make their team this up coming season. Peter Chia sucks.

BUT, you fail to realize something. The Wild need a defenseman - BAD! Manny was the key to filling a huge hole on the team. And what happens, he's likely on his way to the B's for a forward, that isnt even in the NHL yet. He might be great in the A, but that doesnt mean **** when you come up and play in NHL. See example, Shawn Belle. |
