Matt Foy from the
Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Foy, 23 (5/18/83), has tallied 44 points (24-20=44) in 53 games with Houston this season and leads the team in goals, points and power play goals (10). The 6-foot-2, 219-pound forward has appeared in nine games with the Wild this season and has not registered a point while averaging 7:10 of ice time. Last season Foy appeared in 19 games with Minnesota, notching five points (2-3=5) and 16 penalty minutes (PIM).
The Oakville, Ontario-native was originally selected by Minnesota in the sixth round (175th overall) of the 2002 Entry Draft. He will wear No. 83 with Minnesota.
