Wild reassign John Scott

Sucks royal c0ck! Even though Bergeron scored tonight in his first game back, I thought Scott skated pretty well, and when paired with Skoula he was not the worst one on the ice by any means. Oh well hopefully Skoula breaks a leg and Scott gets the call again. It was nice to see where he is in line in terms of depth.

I went to the Flyers game when they played the Wild last week and Scott was by far the worst player on the ice skating-wise. He nearly fell on two separate occasions while backing into his own zone, tripping skating back to the bench, and had to use the boards in order to stop while chasing after a puck. He may have had a bad game, but from what I saw, he's clearly not ready for the NHL.

Interesting. I only caught bits and pieces of that game, but in the games I watched him play I was pretty impressed with his lateral movement and general mobility for a big man. He also played seemed pretty aware of his assignments in the defensive zone. Also he doesn't treat the puck like a hot potato as much as most other HWs. I will admit though, the fact that so many Wild blueliners have SUCKED may have just made me think he looked better than he really was.
