Why Nik Antropov is really injured

As we all know, the Toronto Maple Leafs have been covering up for players off ice problems for years. Kordic, Leeman, Iafrate, Corson, Mogilny.......the list goes on.

You can now add Nik Antropov to that list. He is currently listed as having a bad knee. This is true. However, he didnt get the injury playing hockey.

A friend of mine who works in the ER for St. Mikes hospital told me that 2 weeks ago, Antropov and another man were brought in to the hospital after a "road rage" inncident. The man apparently cut off Antropov and gave him the finger. Antropov then slammed his car into the other mans at the next light.
Antropov mashed up his car pretty good, then got out of his car to ruff up this guy. But as Antropov first got out of his car, he up got so fast, he slammed his right knee into the bottom of his stering wheel, spraining his already repaired knee. The other man called the cops. The man was sent to St. Mikes for whiplash, Antropov for his knee, and police with both of them for questioning.

Think it was the other way around with the first one. Leeman with Iafrates...which led to a fight during practice between Secord and Leeman.

I had heard the same rumor about Eric Lindros and Rod Brind'Amour's wife. Brind'amour went after Lindros in the locker room for it, which lead to a Lindros concussion and Rod's subsequent trade to Carolina.

Heard about that one as well. Along with Ted Nolan sleeping with Haseks wife which led to Matt Barnaby taking Hasek out during practice(someone explain this one to me).

From what I remember hearing it was Iafrate with Leeman's wife. I heard about that Lindros/Brindamour thing too and it was around the same time he had the collapsed lung, from a fight?

I'm shocked if thats true. I remember the entire team hating Leeman and thought that was one of the reasons.

No............it was Leeman with Al Iafrate's wife. And Secord left him with a nice shiner for his efforts.
(Leeman was blacklisted after that, and couldn't get any kind of a job in hockey after packing it in)
Even his old pal Eddie O wouldn't touch him.
And Gary Roberts straightened Corson out as well. Those two hated each other and led to much tension in the dressing room. Almo was very popular with the Leafs and Corson was persona non grata after that. It put Tucker in kind of a difficult position to boot.
The only Leafs that would even talk to Corson were Darcy and Travis Green.

Also...........the Nolan thing with Hasek's wife is BS. It never happened.
(just a stupid story that someone made up and created a life for itself. Similar to the Wendel is gay stories.)
Nolan's problems with getting a job, etc. revolve around his attempted screw job of John Muckler when he was coaching the Sabres and Muckler was the GM.
Nolan went behind his back and bad mouthed Muckler to ownership.
He wanted him out of the picture so he could take over the GM duties as well.
Nolan was very popular with the fans and media at the time because the Sabres were doing well.
Muckler though is old school and has a lot of very loyal friends especially from his Edmonton days.
Those friends are now scattered throughout the league, some of them with teams and some of them holding positions with the league itself.
They haven't forgot about it.
There were a few other factors at play as well, but this is the main gist of it.

I believe they lived together in a fabulous loft in Cabbagetown.
