Vancouver Re-Signs Mason Raymond
Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have re-signed left wing Mason Raymond.
Raymond, 26, collected 20 points (10-10-20) in 55 games played with Vancouver in 2011.12. He also appeared in five post-season games, recording one point (0-1-1). The Cochrane, Alberta native has registered 156 career points (70-86-156) over the span of 328 NHL games. He was awarded the Fred J. Hume Award as the “Canucks Unsung Hero” in 2010 and was appointed to the NHL YoungStars Sophomore Team in 2009. On the International stage, Raymond represented Canada at the 2010 World Championships. The 6’0”, 185 lbs. forward was originally drafted by Vancouver in the second round, 51st overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. |

So much for the Canucks trying to get bigger, stronger, tougher and harder to play against. They sign this little ***, who skates around the permiter only to either take a shot that hits the goalie square in the chest, or he trips over his shadow and gives the puck away. And the next time this selfish little kunt passes to one of his linemates will be the first time.
I understand not wanting to give up/away assets for free, but the guy actually has to be an asset in the first place and this guy manages to bring down every line that he plays on. Well done Gillis, you bull****ting lard ass. And if it sounds like I'm a tad bitter, well I am. |
