Yeah I got it. You simply have no idea how to evaluate a player and his ability because your hockey knowledge is not as good as you think.
It's no problem, I'll ask a Flyer fan about Coburn. They probably know more about him after 1 game then you ever will.

Call me a homer or whatever, but Zhitnik played well last night and he played a hell of a lot better than Coburn's best game in the NHL.

Coburn is big and slow, he doesn't hit, he sucks at fighting, his puckhandling is terrible, he stands around and does nothing most of the time, he just didn't fit into Atlanta's scheme of things. Atlanta is a fast team for the most part, and Coburn just slows things down.

Zhitnik played well in his first game with Atlanta. I'm glad he's here. His friendship with Slava Kozlov has got to help make it a little easier on him. Last night he played good D and got an assist on the PP. Cool. It's what we need.

We have some slower D-men (Sutton) and some who don't generate much offense (Exelby) but everyone contributes some way or another. Even Shane Hnidy does something worthwhile every now and again. But It amazed me that we let a guy like Vitaly Vishnevski ride the pine while Coburn was out there just.. hanging out.

Maybe Coburn will develop and start to get good, but it may be a while. As for Zhitnik, we'll see if he helps Atlanta or not. But I'm glad Waddell decided to make some moves and show that he has some faith in this team. Atlanta is a good team, even if they haven't played well over the last month.

They have a lot of potential, and they needed to grow some nuts and try to make a run. This trade (and the Tkachuk trade) might just be what we needed. Call me a homer, but I love the team we have down in Atlanta and they are a very exciting team to watch, in my opinion.

Anyways, like I said, I like Zhitnik so far. As it stands today, I think Atlanta made a good move.

Thx dude finally someone who brings up some points about why Coburn sucks or is not good as advertised.
I never questioned the trade or said Zhitnik sucks, I just wanted to know from our Trashers-expert how he comes to the conclusion that Coburn sucks and will be a bust also in Philly. He never brought up any argument unlike you did to back up his comments.
Atlanta has two of the most exciting players sure they are fun to watch never questioned anything related to the team or players.
