Hopefully the eye was missed and all reports at this time are that it was. Could of/is nasty all the same. Reminds me of Salmings 200 stitch face cut. Against the Wings I believe.

I think he ended up getting about 30 stitches. RNH falls into the boards and separates his shoulder, Eberle gets his skates tangled with Benn and hurts his knee, and now this...

Freaky accident - and to happen in warmup just makes it all the more worse. The Oilers young guns are dropping like flies, in some of the most awkward and weirdest ways possible.

Still, when you see a replay of it, it could have been a lot worse!

Scary accident here.Could have been worse.Hall's lucky..Actually I'm surprised this stuff doesn't happen more often.Puck's all over the ice.20 some guys in one zone skating around...It's bound to happen...

we shouldnt even be debating this. Helmets and full face visors (no holes to breathe or anything, because a piece of broken stick might fly through and you can lose an eye) should be mandatory in every hockey league in the world.
