He had 16 one year.
A guy that never really lived up to what you would want from a guy of his size. Never really took the next step to being a good power forward, from being a decent one.

Guy has a ton of talent, but is one of the laziest players I've ever seen.

Why would anyone take a chance, he's making 2 mil and he's barely worth half that.
If teams wanted lazy players with talent, they would claim Zherdev, |

But, Tallon 5hit the bed by waiving the best player in the trade. That might be one of the stupidest things any GM has done in recent NHL history. As for Bernier, I never questioned his commitment or work ethic. I think he gave it his best shot, but he just isn't as good, or talented as we thought. Pylons put up numbers beside the Sedins, and Bernier could not. I think his San Jose rookie season was an aberration and made us think there was something there. Still, as a 4th liner making less than a million, I'd take him back. But, at 2 mill per, he's an untouchable. |

Hmmm, He is french an over 6,0, plus he weight is over 220 (probably from to many off season Poutines) Nahhh, way to big to be playing on the Habs.... Well I guess all useless french garbage ends in one of two places... Tampa Bay or Montreal, guess Gauthier an Stevie Y are playing rock paper siscors for this douche......

Waivers seemed like a forgone conclusion based on yet another disappointing season, but at that pricetag, no one will be touching him.
