创Waste of spot创 opinions are nonesense as he collected 50+ points and 19 goals. Good numbers from waste of spot position.

He needs a lot of money for his hockey team he owns in czech rep, that can be the reason why he chose the highest offer. I dont think anyone was offering him 5mils..

Another reason which would be also logical is that Dallas has lack of offensive stars, its not like in Philly and Pittsburgh. He plays better when he is the only offensive star on the team.. Overdose of good forwards on the team kills his scoring ability

Well anyways, I am excited to witness this experiment next year. And thats what hockey is all about. To look forward to new stuff happening

He was useless in the playoffs last year.

he is one year older.

He doesnt have Giroux to play with this year. You think Giroux wasnt responsible for a lot of Jagr's success?

What a waste of money.

i hope im wrong but i doubt gazdic or wathier will have a chance to play in dallas.it looks like stars try to get rid of any sign of toughness.

maybe, but im not sure i buy that. He played with giroux and giroux had alot to do with his success. Giroux sees the ice very well and is one of the best passers ive ever seen. He made scott hartnell of all people a 37 goal scorer. With jagr going to dallas his stats will drop, and he has groin issues which will also slow him down. And thats being honest with no bias

nah i dont hate the guy at all, he left with alot of class and said alot of good things about the flyers players and organization. The truth is he did well in replacing leino's point output from the yr before, but he had alot of nagging groin injuries and he wore down as season went on. I woulda resigned him for 2.5 mill, but hes certainly not worth even close to the 4.5 hes gonna be getting. But i do wish him all the best of luck in dallas

Personally, no. I won't say I love the guy now, or even really a fan of his, but I don't have the hate for him anymore. He played pretty well for the Flyers and seems like a good guy. It sure was awkward at first seeing him inthe orange and black, but I believe he was definitely a positive addition last year. $4.5mil/year is pretty steep, but compared to what some other guys are getting thats not too bad. I wish him best of luck in Dallas!

Dallas should be fearsome now with the tandem of Derek Roy and Jaromir Jagr.

Jags told the Czech media today that the Flyers were too busy with trying to sign Suter and Parise and they were too slow in the contract talks with him.

He always wanted to play in Canada and wanted to sign with Montreal when he had realized that he will not stay in Philly. Problem was that Montreal was not into him this time.

Then he got a call from Joe Nieuwendyk and said yes to him. He said he wanted to sign somewhere where he will be important to the team. We can say that about Dallas

Is everyone forgetting Godard who should be on a one way with the Stars?

Or did I miss him being released or moved?

Pretty sure he signed a two yr deal last year with a two way the first year and a one way this year....

Don't worry, bro. The Ice Flyers should be tougher this year. You can balance that out with your wuss NHL team.

And you still have Morrow.
