Sharks Re-Sign T.J. Galiardi to One-Year Contract

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has re-signed forward T.J. Galiardi to a one-year contract. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In 2011-12, Galiardi played 69 games for Colorado and San Jose, posting 15 points (nine goals, six assists) and 53 penalty minutes. He finished the regular season second on the Sharks in hits (110) and scored his first goal with the team on April 3 at Dallas.

He played in three playoff games for San Jose.

The six-foot-two, 190-pound native of Calgary, Alberta was originally selected by Colorado in the second round (55th overall) in the 2007 NHL Draft.

That trade still has me scratching my head. Don't know what the Sharks were thinking.

That was a Los Angeles Dave Taylor type of trade.

As an AVS fan I was happy to witness that they can suddenly trade good.
Galliardi is not going to develop into a great player, he is a good AHLer, thats it

Good thing for Sharks fans is that its just one year contract
