Sharks Place Scott Parker on Injured Reserve

http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...PG05M28LL1.DTL

Quote:
Right wing Scott Parker, who has not played a game this season, was placed on injured reserve with what the Sharks are calling a strained back. A move had to be made to activate Clowe (bruised foot) from IR.

he hasn't ever been a top heavyweight based on actual performance... only hype has made him into some God..when most of us who actually paid attemtion to what we saw..viewed him as a big pile of (poop)with a hard punch.

Jean Luc Grand-Pierre flatted the almighty Parker...

YES...

THAT Jean Luc Grand-Pierre..

When this has been that never was retires - how many will look back and blame the hype or the people that hyped him ?
Rather than looking at him with some objective views.

He simply was average...

In the minors he was better than his NHL reign of mediocrity...but even that was overblown. I personally thought Wade Belak was the number 1 heavyweight on the Bears over Parker.

He bloodied Francis Lessard in a slugfest...this is no feat. But it is NEVER mentioned how Lessard won more than he lost aginst Parker after that. Lessard scored some very impressive wins over him, and no one ever called him the AHL Champ because of it..

He broke Steve McLaren's nose in a highly debated fight, and again...you could thump McLaren in the nose and it would shatter, but people thought Parker was superhuman in strengh...ignoring..the fact of McLaren walking right through that punch and coming back strong.

When Bialowas wanted to rumble...almost always - Wade Belak would hug him.
Not Parker.

He gets to the NHL...and it's more of the same. He scores an impressive victory...and all that hype floods in...but then lays a turd...and hadly few back off their stance of how "great" he is.

oh wait...he throws body blows in a hockey fight... that must be why we all should bow to his greatness...

Well...not me.

This guy is the Alexander Daigle of heavyweights..and I hope he retires, and people don't rank him in any all-time rankings, because he was average. He just looked mean...and I think people confused that with actual accomplishments in the "ring".

Just my .2 on a waste of a heavyweight who was always hurt....and still viewed as a bad ass because of his mean looking goatee.

This was a thread about Scott Parker going on the IR and you turned it into this verbal menstruation regarding how average Parker is. Do you have something personal against Parker or did you forget to take your meds today?

I'm happy to see The Sherriff assigned to the IR, rather than being placed on waivers. It gives me hope that the Sharks still believe here is a spot for him on the team, always a good thing for enforcers!

He had a solid year in 03-04, unfortunately his health has prevented him on building upon that.

YOU SEE..it's a thread about Scott Parker..so I talked about..Scott Parker.

Rather than the normal c0ck gobbiling that goes on in regards to him from his :-fans-: i decided to sprinkle a little truth to you and others who fasten their lips on his weenkie.

I have nothing at all against him, i just stated my views on..well...HIM.
Which last time i checked..I had a right to do so in a thread about...HIM.

Got it ?

Or should I clarify even more so you can miss the point because you "like" Scott Parker and nothing else matters in lieu of that.
