Brian Campbell a toned down version of Dion Phaneuf?? BAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Wow.

Just wow.

Brian Campbell is softer than a pile of fresh dog shat on a rainy day; and he's as useless as tits on a bull in his own zone.

He deserves nowhere near the combination of money and contract length he's seeking.

He RARELY hits as he lacks upper body strength and hardly scores from the point because he lacks power on his shot.

The guy lays huge open ice hits. This was why I compared him to Phaneuf. Did you see him lay Umberger out?

Everyone seen him lay out Umberger... Unfortunately that one big hit has seemingly gained him a reputation as a huge hitter. If he gets a guy lined up he'll take the opportunity to drop them but he doesn't dish out hits left and right. I've watched him for years and it's never been the case. He is finesse first on most occasions. At least Darcy got something for him instead of just letting him walk, which was almost certainly going to happen.

He does have a tendency to only hit guys who's heads are down or are in a bad position.

the Sharks seem to have paid a steep... woops, no they actually didn't pay that much. Sure Campbell is a UFA at year's end, but the 1st rounder is going to be a late first rounder, while Bernier is still only potential. Good deal for the Sharks.

well Bernier has a nice start, 2 goals, an assist so far with a period left.

Definitely a good trade. Bernier made this game entertaining.

Bernier with a huge first game as Ruff put him on the top line. Anyone who truly believes the Sharks got the best of this trade is retarded.

I like the deal for the Sharks but if they don't sign him prior to UFA time it will be a bad deal IMO. He's good but unless he wins them the Cup this year or re-signs it will be a terrible deal.
