No reason to really bring that up in here, now look at the fabulous responses.

In reality, it was the fault of Dallas players that the thing happened anyway. If Avery and Ott aren't out there acting like idiots, that brawl doesn't happen.

Great to see the Wild pick up a guy who is willing. I remember when they picked up Craig Weller, I kept watching his destruction shift against the Blue Jackets. Really thought he was going to help in the fight department, but all he did was take the blows of Sheldon Souray's wrist guard and say he doesn't really want to fight anymore.

The last offseason the Wild did nothing basically. I guess Marc-Andre Bergeron and Marek Zidlicky helped a little.

Good for Hnidy, but I'm sad to see him go. He was a solid, dependable guy in Boston. Was always there for his teammates.

Pretty good pickup by the Wild to add some depth and grit to their blueline. Hnidy might not be that active of a fighter anymore, but he's still a good team player to have out there.

Eh.

Good signing. Hnidy's a great depth guy. I was always a fan of his in Ottawa and I've learned to despise him as a Bruin. He'll be a welcome addition to Minnesota and with him out there, I can start liking him again!

He never really fought all that much. But he did take on Domi, Ken Belanger, Patrick Cote, Corson, Tucker, Wiemer, who are decent to good opponents.

I would say the same thing about 90% of the defensive/tough defenseman in the NHL.
