Finally got a hard nosed defensive blue liner. There are still more than a few out there, and Shane wasn't on the list I threw together in the Wild forum... but it works.

I thought Shane Hnidy did a decent job in Boston the last few seasons..

Just dont expect too much and you wont be disappointed

Loved him in Boston. Perfect 6th defenseman. Gritty, makes very few errors in his own zone, and will always come to the aid of a teammate.

Good signing Minnesota.

Nice signing, I think Scott's job is still safe since he is a fairly decent number 5 or 6 defenceman. Skoula & Johnsson gone?

I like Hnidy, for minnesota i wouldnt' expect him to be more then a 6/7 d-man for you. But he's a good depth signing.
