I respect the fact that Alfredsson never jumped ship when things were going poorly in Ottawa. It's so rare to see a player spend a long entire career with just one franchise in this day in age, a true sign of loyality. It's also impressive that he's been the Captain of a team over a decade. Not to mention of a Canadian team which gets more media coverage and Scrutiny then most Amercian teams do.
