Savard out 3-4 weeks with partially torn MCL

Quote:
Marc Savard has been diagnosd with a partially torn MCL in his right knee. The injury will sideline Savard for 3-4 weeks. Savard will not require surgery.

Savard has nine goals and 13 assists in 28 games. Savard missed 15 games because of a broken left foot earlier this season.

Savard sprained his right knee last year in Game 6 of the second round. Savard didn't require surgery.

Savard, Bergeron, Krejci, and Begin

vs.

Krejci, Sobotka, Begin and Whitfield.

Yup, I think the struggles will continue through the Olympic break.

The Bruins can't catch a break with these injuries. They get Lucic back and then Savard gets injured.

I'm sorry to hear that. I saw the game and how he went off. I was hoping it would not be a major injury.

Yeah, it looked pretty innocent. I guess he had a similar injury over the summer. Wonder if this is going to be a reoccurring theme?

I sure hope not.

The B's have had more than their fair share of injuries this year. Hopefully, they'll be healthy come playoff time.

Keep losing your star players like this an there might not be a play-offs to look forward to this season, but as a Habs fan I hope Boston makes it, just for the twinkle of a dream that the two teams could meet somewere in the play-offs.....

Its about time that this loser club gets their fair share of the injury bug.
The only reason they won the EC last year was because of a very favorable schedule and lots of luck with no injuries and single digit wins in terms of scoring. This year, most NE clubs have been hampered by injuries or severe mis-management (TOR) so it is nice to see this Irish brittle little girly hockey club lick their wounds for a few weeks to get the competion catch up in the points race

That post was simply meant to stir the pot. The B's have fought the injury bug all season. I hate Boston, and even I can admit to that.

Don't mind him, he is just a troll. 3/4 of his posts are deleted and the remaining only pertain to ripping the Bruins. Somehow he is still apart of this site, weird, I know.

How they had a favorable schedule last year quite funny considering they play the EXACT same schedule the rest of the Northeast does.
