I love we are actually doing something. Maybe someone on the D can help.

I'm pleased with both of the San Jose deals. Burns has just leveled off and he really hasn't looked as good since coming back from concussion issues. He is a guy that needs to play on the verge of "out of control" to reach his full potential. He looked timid and at times lost last year. Getting Seto in return helps the Wild address a huge problem in scoring depth.
As for Havlat, he is as streaky as they come, and not a finisher like the Wild desperately need. Even with Brunette gone we still have Bouchard and Koivu making plays and until now have been relying on Miettinen to finish!? YUCK! This may work out for both teams, or it may be trading bust for bust. Time will tell, but it's nice to see Fletcher making some moves and showing that he's willing to deal, and take chances. This is something Minny fans aren't used to.

Thank the ****ing lord. Heatley has one of the worst contracts in hockey and does nothing but score goals (which he isn't even that good at anymore). Sharks save over $2 mil in cap space and pick up a natural RW, who through his career so far, performs in the playoffs unlike Heatley.

Scoring goals have been the problem for the Wild since Gabby left. As long as Dany keeps himself at check with the crap and scores goals. Then this can work awesomely, we need a finisher, and thats what he will do here.

Good luck with that. If he couldn't pot a ton of goals playing with the likes of Thornton, Marleau, Couture, and Pavelski, then I doubt his total is going to jump playing with Koivu and Bouchard.

I like the trade for both. SJ needed a shake up and Minnesota gets a proven goal scorer. Havlat has been a good playoff performer thus far in his career, let's see if the SJ curse haunts him too

Heatley played with a broken hand in the playoffs. Not sure who wins this trade til late in the season.
