Sabres Recall Travis Turnbull On Emergency Basis
Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Travis Turnbull has been recalled on an emergency basis from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
A native of Chesterfield, MO, Turnbull (7/7/86, 6'0", 197 lbs) will join the Sabres on his first NHL recall after being signed by the Sabres on April 6, 2009. Turnbull has 27 points (12+15) and 94 penalty minutes in 53 games for the Americans this season. In four AHL seasons, Turnbull has totaled 54 points (26+28) and 225 penalty minutes in 133 games with the Americans and the Portland Pirates. |

Gerbe and Kaleta are out with upper body injuries. It will be nice to take a look at Turnbull, he will be hitting everything that moves out there....I'm guessing he goes with Ryan White...McCormick could also go with Staubitz.
