Detroit pickjed up one of the best pound for pound fighters in the league. He's also gotta be one of the craziest. At least he agitates through big hits instead of just yapping and is a willing/ very good fighter.
An Abdelkader - Helm - Tootoo line is going to be a fun one to watch. 3 big hitters, 2 extremely fast and 2 willing fighters. Seems the wings are changing their ways a bit |

Glad for Detroit. I just ended up back in Michigan so it'll be nice to watch Tootoo when I'm stuck watching a bunch of Red Wings games.
Tootoo will energize this team if he's utilized better than he was in NSH (especially in the playoffs). Great signing, great player to watch, and great fit. |

This is awesome. Just saw this now!
Good for him! Can't be upset with the wings getting tougher even if it is completely out of character for them.
