Hopefully having at least one permanent tough guy will emasculate the whole team and in-turn get them to check their balls.

Thanks Thrill.

Simply because IT'S THE WINGS, it'll be the old I'll believe it when I see it.

No offense to Seward.

Dude, Downey was with us the majority of the season two years ago, and it made the season almost bearable to watch, Guys like Lebda, Meech and Kopecky stood up for themselves from time to time. Imagine what the impact would be, If we had a legit enforcer and not a Counter Punching Part Time Enforcer?

OMFG, Colton Orr???? Donny Brash???? OMFGOMFOGMFOMG

While I would never doubt the validity of Seward's always great information, this one is just so hard to believe that I agree that I'll only believe it if and when it happens.

Even though they have cap issues, I think a guy like Chris Neil is a much better fit for the Red Wings than Colton Orr. Even if Orr has developed into a solid player (a Selke-candidate according to some )who can take a regular shift on the fourth line, Neil is a much better all-around player in my opinion who I think many coaches would trust with significantly more icetime than Orr. Just like I thought around the trade deadline, Chris Neil seems like a great candidate to partially address the Wings gaping hole in toughness. I just can't see Holland going after an Orr-type enforcer, and I fear that he'd end up in the Detroit press box all the time instead of in the lineup.

To put this in perspective, if the Wings were to acquire Orr, he would probably re-do his last name to Orrsberg and fight with his gloves on. And I'm a die hard Wings fan.

Everyone knows NO tough guy will make the Wings lineup full time,At least not while there is still Holland still in charge!

They are not in the market for a D-Man, If Lilja is healthy we're trading a D-Man *Meech*, If he's not we are where we want to be. I wouldn't complain about Komi, But we are in no room to spend money.

Orrsberg, but what number would he wear? Foppa and his one healthy foot is tougher than half of the RedWings.

I still say have Chelios and Probert duke it out for "24" and whoever wins gets to have the jersey and play next season.
