Red Wings forward Valtteri Filppula suffers broken wrist-out 6-8 weeks

Quote:
According to Red Wings coach Mike Babcock, the Wings lost Valtteri Filppula for the next 6 to 8 weeks with a broken wrist, pretty much negating the positives that can be taken from the Wings' comeback in their 6-5 shootout loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

Wings fans it's been a good run! I am waiting to hear Zetterberg's back blew out and Datsyuk tears his ACL. That should cap it off.

It has hasnt it

We lost Samuelsson, Hudler, Kopecky and Hossa for good, and have now lost Franzen and Filppula for the best part of the next few months

And replaced them with May, Abdelkader, Eaves, Helm and hopefully...Kris Newbury.

I still have a large distain for you guys not even acknowliging the need for an enforcer. I look forward to watching the Pens dominate the NHL for the next few years.
