Probably not, I'm sure they will take it slow with him in Training camp in September and see how he feels! They'll handle him like they did Marc Staal last year!
Sauer is very very underrated as a stay at home defenseman. He is strong and strong in his end and makes an excellent first pass up to the forwards.
