I don't know if it's 24 carat gold but it's definitly better than yours.
Pretty sure if Rick Nash was czech you would be all over licking his ass. McDonagh is a fucking stud in his second season in the NHL, playing over 25 minutes every night as Rangers' number one guy on the blue line, at only 22 years old. The guy is going to be in Rob Blake's/Scott Niedermayer's category by the two or three next seasons. Kreider is a talent, needs to be polished, but still managed to play extremely well in the playoffs for the Rangers as he was jumping in the NHL from the COLLEGE. Lock down the thread because it doesnt get any better than that comment. Funniest thing that I have read on the net in months...
BTW, the entire city of Columbus knows that we got boned on the trade, but bottom line, Nash wanted out of here , and who can blaim him? I hope that he hoist the cup next year, he deserves it... |

Lunqvist, Staal, Girardi, McDonagh, Del Zotto, Callahan, Stepan, Hagelin, and Kreider will all be in the lineup daily and the Rangers are the only NHL team any of them have played for. There are more prospects on the way. The Rangers have changed their philosophy and are having much better drafts which gave them the necessary depth to make this very necessary trade. Natural goal scorers are hard to come by and they filled a huge need with this trade while also getting bigger which they needed to do. Even if it doesn't work out, there should be no regrets. This is a trade you just had to make and anybody with half a brain should know that.
