Out of those guys only Prust was acquired in a trade. And Carcillo? Never a ranger.

i thought we were very short on centers and now olli has size to be that number 1 center and some scoring to go with him. higgins worked hard but couldn't hit the net for nothing and kotalik was invivsilbe. prust with voros and brash is gonna be a nice checking line. Next to go should be boyle, he is so useless and so slow!!!!!!!!!! after that get rid of redden and rosival and we will be a contender

Brash, Prust and Voros aren't centers. Highly unlikely Boyle goes anywere.

There has to be more in store in Calgary, they gave up 3 roster players and picked up 5 and unless they have some bad injuries that i am not aware of, this just screams of more moves to come.

At the end of the day however, i do think the Rangers get the better player overall in Prust, the rest is just moving bodies for bodies, nothing too special about the other 3.

if rangers can find a setup man for olli he will score some. he isnt a playmaker hes a shooter.. vinny prospal as his linemate would prolly be a good fit.

He was bad in Calgary because he is a shoot first centerman that was paired with a shoot first winger and it never clicked.

I think Prust added some heart and work ethic that the Rags might be needing.

Good question and no I wouldn't be surprised if in a few weeks he isn't playing with Gaborik, but in general he is going to be better getting to the more wide open East.

Prust is a positive anywhere he goes because of his role and how much guys in the room talk about how great he is.
