Predators' Tootoo Cleared to Return to Practice
TORONTO/NEW YORK -- The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association announced today that forward Jordin Tootoo of the Nashville Predators has entered the follow-up care phase of the Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health Program of the NHLPA and the NHL. Tootoo is cleared to return to practice with the Predators while he continues his outpatient care. Tootoo is not cleared to play in NHL games or to travel with the Nashville Predators on their road trips.
On December 27, 2010, Tootoo voluntarily entered an in-patient care program. Tootoo's care continues to be administered by SABH Program Doctors Dave Lewis (NHL) and Brian Shaw (NHLPA). |
Keep up the good work Toots! :approve:
Hope to see you on the ice again real soon. |
nice to see 22 back!

Wow! He was "in-patient"? He must have really needed to dry out. Glad to hear that Tootoo's making progress. Hope to see him back in the lineup soon. Though, that will probably mean no more Wade Belak. God knows Barry Trotz couldn't dress two tough players at the same time.

Hope he can stay clean. Its a long road ahead and yes, I speak from experiance.

Speaking of which, can you imagine what Gaetz would have done if he would have stayed clean?

Good news, but does anyone have a new time-frame for when he will be back?

if you're trying to quit drinking, and have emotional problems, in-patient is 100% the best way to go. Good luck toots! |
