Great Wade. I originally thought the Predators would cut him lose. After reading Trotzs comments about Wade in the interview, I'm not surprised. It's great to see Nashville recognize the value of an enforcer.

I never heard his comments, but was it directed towards the old management? JFJ didn't want him and Paul Maurice wouldn't play him. Burke and Wilson are VERY different...

It was on Hockeycentral at Noon today on Sportsnet. He basically said that no player would ever sign in Toronto unless the Leafs overpay because the fans critisize the players too much, or something along those lines. He also said he thinks it will be a long time before they make the playoffs again.

I used to enjoy watching the Preds play, I spend quite a bit of time down in Nashville and the tix were easy to get. This last season was just brutal though, they went from a fun team to see to one of the most boring and stale teams. There mits were glued on, they showed no emotion and were just plain painful to watch despite their winning record. I can only hope they make some changes this offseason to help put some life back in them. Belak is a top heavy, Tootoo is a decent scrapper and fun to watch, Weber is/could be a top middle weight in my book and can hold his own with most, but they were almost invisible all season long.

Always great to hear something like this but there is no reason why he can't appear in at least 50 games a year.
