Predators Place Tootoo on IR, Recall Peverley
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled center Rich Peverley (RIHTCH PEH-vuhr-lee) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Peverley, 25 (7/8/82), leads Milwaukee in scoring with 38 points (9g-29a) in 36 games, including seven points (2g-5a) in his last four contests. Originally signed as a free agent by Nashville on Jan. 17, 2007, Peverley has already appeared in 5 NHL games with Nashville this season from Oct. 27 vs. Florida to Nov. 4 at Chicago, averaging 5:25 of ice time.

The Predators also placed forward Jordin Tootoo on the injured reserve list on Monday.

He's playing very well right now, with the All-Star nod and some very good recent games, I'm hoping he can really step it up and prove himself as a good young NHL'er

I do like Tootoo even though people complain about his dirty hits......

Groin injury from what I heard. 1-3 weeks. Will be nice to see what Peverly can do with some extended time up in Nashville.

No Hordi and no Tootoo = weakest team in the NHL.

Both teams played horrible last ngiht and it looked like the preds outplayed my boys all night, couple lucky bounces and they call it a game.

no joke, I was just happy Pev got his first NHL goal after following him on the Admirals the last few years.
